I don’t follow any one method perfectly, I just take what fits and leave the rest. Over the years, a few books have really stuck with me. They’ve shaped how I show up as a parent and helped me better understand my kids. In this reel, I’m sharing my top five go-to parenting books, the ones I keep coming back to again and again.

Avocado Toast for One (ingredients)
- Bread
- Avocado
- Lemon juice 
- Everything but the bagel seasoning
- Sriracha sauce
A couple months ago, one of our kids got sick on a A couple months ago, one of our kids got sick on an overnight trip and I felt so unprepared. When I got home, I pulled together a travel first aid kit I could grab for road trips, hotel stays, or anytime we’re away from home. Here’s what I included in mine:
Pain Management:
	•	Kids Tylenol and Ibuprofen
	•	Adult Tylenol and Ibuprofen
	•	Eli’s lidocaine cream (prescribed for port access if needed)
Cold and Allergy:
	•	Kids Zyrtec
	•	Saline Mist, Nose sucker, and boogie wipes
Cough:
	•	Kids cough medicine
	•	Vicks VapoRub
	•	Cough drops
Nausea:
	•	Dramamine
	•	Barf Bags
	•	Zofran (prescribed for Eli)
Bandages:
	•	Variety of sized bandages
	•	Bacitracin
	•	Alcohol Prep Wipes
Medical Tools:
	•	Thermometer
	•	O2 reader
	•	Syringes and medicine cups
General:
	•	Melatonin Gummies
	•	Laxative Powder
	•	Additional medication specific to our family’s needs, i.e. Eli’s chemo

Here’s a fun little party trick to get that floating balloon look, without the cost (or the stress 😅).

Just stick an adhesive glue dot on top of each balloon and press it to the ceiling. That’s it! They hold like magic, and in just a few minutes, you’ll have a room full of happy, floating balloons. 🥳
