Stitching Together our Favorites: May Edition

May was a mix of sunshine, chaos, and a few small wins, and we’re here for all of it. Whether it’s was a favorite trail, a glowy beauty find, a cozy read with the kids or just surviving big life changes with a little help from our people, these are the things that made us smile this month.

Nothing fancy, just our real-life favorites.

Let’s get into it!

Grace:

My little boy got the classic Tikes little car for his bday and we’ve been having so much fun playing with it:

Find it here!

It’s fun seeing the improvements they’ve made through the years – there is a handle on the back for the parents to push their little one, a lock on the door, and a little insert you can put by their feet to keep their feet in the car.

Emma:

This month, I’ve really loved reading books with my kids—it’s been one of our sweetest daily rituals. Two favorites that have stood out are the Magic Tree House series, full of adventure and imagination, and the 5-Minute Star Wars Stories, which are perfect for bedtime. Watching them get excited about stories has been so much fun.

Eliza:

My favorite this month?? L’Oréal Lumi Glotion – I’ve been trying to put in a little more effort getting ready each day, and this has been a total game changer. It gives the prettiest glow, takes two seconds to apply, and makes me feel put together even on the busiest mornings.

Faith:

This month has been absolutely insane as I have been finishing up my teaching career and packing up my classroom getting ready for new adventures. The one thing that has gotten me through the month has been thoughtful texts and check-ins. Change is hard but knowing that you are being thought of makes it easier. This includes in person convos or a phone call and text. It’s so easy but you never know how much it can help a person press on.

Hope:

My favorite part of May has been HIKES. Anytime someone wants to catch up, my immediate answer is “let’s go on a hike!!” I love the weather in May where it’s still cooler and you can be outside without having to go at 6am. It’s the perfect way to connect with nature and those you are hiking with.

Some recent favorites include!

– the new rattlesnake gulch trail up Millcreek (on the easier side)

– Heughs canyon (short)

We hope you’re May was wonderful and here’s to a summer filled with lots of fun!
