Faith:

Fanny Pack

As the weather gets warmer, I pack away my coats and suddenly lose all my pockets, so I always need a place to put my things. This is where my fanny pack has been amazing! I have the classic lululemon fanny pack, but there are so many different styles you can find on Amazon for a lot cheaper. It is so nice to have a small bag for my phone, wallet, chapstick, and whatever else I am carrying as I go about my day. It has been especially handy when I want my hands free, whether I am chasing kids around, running quick errands, or heading out the door without digging for a bigger bag. Once you go hands-free, it is hard to go back!

Visual Timer for Kids

With summer here, there is so much fun to be had, but also a much needed quiet time each day. I love this timer for quiet time, reading time, and even playtime! As the colorful rainbow gets smaller, my kiddos can easily see how much time is left. My littles understand it so much better than a traditional timer, and it has saved us from a lot of “is it time yet?” questions. It has become a simple little tool that helps our days feel a bit more peaceful.

The Message Bible (Large Print Edition)

I have tried to read the Old Testament many times, but I always seem to get lost in some of the older language. My cousin recommended The Message Bible to me, and it has been a game changer. It reads in a modern, contemporary voice while still preserving the beauty, poetry, and rhythm of the scriptures. I have found it much easier to follow and understand, especially in the Old Testament. One tip! Order the large print edition. Despite saying it is large, it feels more like a regular-sized print when you get it!

Garlic Press

If there is one little kitchen tool I reach for again and again, it is my garlic press. We use so much fresh garlic in our cooking, and this saves me from the sticky, smelly job of mincing it by hand. It crushes a whole clove in seconds, and cleanup is quick. I use it most often when I am whipping up our favorite salad dressing, which we make on repeat around here. A good garlic press is one of those small things that makes everyday cooking feel so much easier, and it has earned a permanent spot in my new kitchen drawer.

Summer Wardrobe Staples

I am still figuring out my style postpartum, and I always love finding great clothing pieces that actually work for this season of life. These outfits will be perfect for the hot months ahead and have quickly become staples in my wardrobe. They are comfortable, easy to throw on, and still make me feel put together even on the busy days. I love pieces that can be dressed up or down, and these have been just that. Here are a few of my current favorites: one, two, and three.

Toddler Gardening Set

Gardening with the girls has been my favorite part of this month! We planted so many fun things, and it has already been an adventure watching everything start to grow. The girls go outside every single day to check on the plants and see what is new. This little gardening set has been perfect for their tiny hands, and it makes them feel like they have their very own tools right alongside mine. It has been such a sweet way to spend time together outside and watch them get excited about taking care of something.
