The Ultimate BLT You’ll Crave All Summer

I’m here to introduce you to the Ultimate BLT sandwich. Hands down the best BLT of my Life – No really… trust me on this one.
I love sandwiches. I’m talking full-blown fan-girl for Subway, Jimmy John’s, and Jersey Mike’s. But I always battled with the fact that homemade sandwiches never quite hit the same, until now.
Let me introduce you to my ultimate BLT recipe! I kept seeing variations of it pop up on Pinterest and finally gave it a shot. And wow… I’m so glad I did. It’s simple, craveable, and the perfect quick meal as we head into summer.
What You’ll Need for this Ultimate BLT Recipe:
- Your favorite bread
- 2–3 slices of bacon
- 1 cup lettuce (shredded or chopped)
- 1–2 ripe tomatoes, diced
- ½ cup mayo
- A splash of red wine vinegar
- Everything But the Bagel Sesame Seasoning
- Salt & pepper
- Swiss cheese
Let’s Make It:
- Start by tossing your shredded lettuce into a bowl. Add the mayo and a splash of red wine vinegar—just enough to give it a little tang (this is the game changer that makes it feel like a restaurant!) Mix it all together until creamy.
- Sprinkle in a generous amount of Everything But the Bagel Sesame Seasoning and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Dice your tomato and toss it into the bowl with the lettuce-mayo mix. Give it a good stir.
- Cook your bacon. I’m all about convenience, so I usually use the pre-cooked kind from Costco and put it in the microwave until crispy.
- While that’s going, place your bread slices on a baking sheet, top with Swiss cheese, and broil until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Once everything’s ready, assemble your sandwich: bacon on the bread, followed by a generous scoop of the lettuce-tomato mix, and you’re good to go.
