Regency Romance Books I Can’t Get Enough Of
A major guilty pleasure of mine is regency romance so here I am with a book genre that I can never get enough of—even when I know exactly how the story will end. Regency romance has always had my heart! If you’re wondering where to start, here are a few of my all-time favorites.
Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson
Edenbrooke is a classic introduction to Regency romance and almost always the first book I recommend. The story follows Marianne Daventry, a young woman who unexpectedly falls in love with the charming Philip. As their relationship develops, misunderstandings and family complications arise, Marianne must learn to trust and discover where she belongs.

Blackmoore by Julianne Donaldson
Another favorite by Julianne Donaldson! Blackmoore is beautifully written, with imagery that sends you straight to the English countryside. Kate Worthington dreams of a life very different from the one her family has planned for her, and her journey to discover what she truly wants is both heartfelt and unforgettable.

The Jonquil Brothers Series by Sarah M. Eden
This is one of my favorite Regency romance series because every book is connected. Each novel follows a different member of the Jonquil family, while characters from previous books continue to make appearances. I honestly can’t pick a favorite! One of the things I love most is that everyone seems to connect with a different story. Every time I talk to someone who has read the series, we end up loving different books for different reasons. Which one will end up being your favorite?

The Lancaster Family Series by Sarah M. Eden
If you love connected families, you’ll love the Lancaster series as well. These books intertwine with the Jonquil Brothers series, making it even more fun to read both together. The first book, Seeking Persephone, was recently adapted into a TV series, so it’s the perfect excuse to read the book first and then watch the show!
The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion by Beth Brower
The final series on my list is The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion. These books have become incredibly popular recently, and I completely understand why. Told through Emma’s journal entries, the series gives readers a glimpse into her witty observations, everyday adventures, and the charming community around her. You’ll quickly become attached to the many unforgettable characters. There are currently nine books available, with many more still to come!

All these books have a way of sweeping me away into a world of simplicity, romance, and charming characters. They’re all light, easy reads that are perfect for when you want to get lost in a good story. If you love Regency romance too, let me know what other books I must add to my list!
